How the Enrich and Educate (E²) Fund got started: |
| During the last budget crisis, the Old Adobe
Union School District held public forums to inform parents and staff about what
was happening in the District. At several of these forums, parents suggested
we create our own foundation, which would become an alternate source of revenue.
Parents and Staff members came together to oversee the establishment of a foundation. |
| We officially became a component fund of the Petaluma
Educational Foundation (PEF) on May 20th 2002, when E² Team Members signed
the Component Fund Agreement. The E² Fund is exclusively dedicated to the
Old Adobe Union School District. PEF does all our accounting and taxes, plus
they send out thank-yous and tax receipts. |

The Enrich and Educate Fund is dedicated to four areas
which they would like to support: |

Health & Safety
Literacy

All E² Meetings are open to the public.
We welcome your suggestions and sincerely appreciate every resource we
have in our community and any time, energy or expertise that can be donated
is equally as important as any financial contributions that can be made. |
